''Democracy Now!'' was founded on February 19, 1996 at WBAI-FM in New York City by progressive journalists Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzalez, Larry Bensky, Salim Muwakkil, and Julie Drizin.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=The First Democracy Now!
